The server hasn't been updating its virus signature database in the last few days, and upon trying to do a manual update, I get the following error message: "Base file missing". Here is a screenshot of the error: I've tried to find a solution for this problem on the ESET website, as well as on Google, but this hasn't been successful. I still couldn't find out what was causing this problem, but upon advice from ESET support, I re-installed ESET NOD32 and cleared the Update Cache. On this example, I show how to update virus signature database of nod32 antivirus version 4 business edition. You also can apply these steps to nod32 antivirus version 2, 3 and home edition.Has anyone had experience with something like this before? After configuring clients to get updates from proxy server when I click update now (in smart security v10) multiple errors logged in "error.log" file in apache proxy server logs folder: [Sun Nov 04 .185593 2018] [proxy:error] [pid 1444:tid 12552] [client] AH00898: DNS lookup failure for: com returned by hxxp://com/eset_upd/v10/dll/what is the solution?

and another question: If you say I can not use proxy server for ERA v5 what is the alternative?

But I have not include the update for version 2 so you have to find the update file somewhere else.

I’m running ESET Remote Administrator (ERA) 3.0.105 as an update mirror on a Win2003 R2 server. Clicking on Update Now only changes the time; the version is still 4522. I opened the client that is installed on the server and tried the manual update twice, once with diagnostic logging.
